About Kiruv

What is Kiruv? Kiruv is the process of bringing Jews normally unaffiliated with religion closer to G-d, normally by using the latest and greatest tools and devices from the applicable generation. The objective is to provide all with a significantly richer spiritual lifestyle. Kiruv naturally stems from the Hebrew word “karov,” to bring closer.

The Kiruv movement began in the mid-1960s by a ragtag group of people under the leadership of Rabbi Noach Weinberg ZT”L and his Yeshiva “Aish HaTorah,” which uses the most modern methods of bringing Jewish people closer. Since then, Kiruv has become popular around the world.

Claude Bitton Kiruv Background

Claude Bitton has "unofficially" been involved in Kiruv his entire life. Coming from a family of givers, Claude Bitton is culturally inclined to give. Claude Bitton feels that the best gift is imparting his strong belief in being religious while being engaged in the modern world.

Claude Bitton’s unique sense of style and fashion has made him an attractive target for people heavily involved in stylish clothing. Clothing represents the era and location in which the person lives in. Claude Bitton is therefore the best equipped to utilize this venue to bring people to new spiritual highs while keeping them "down to earth."
